Do it yourself.

I was trying to find some pictures to add to my blogs, and was remembering some photographs from years ago. I called my Mom to see if she had any older pictures on disc or on her computer, but she didn't. She said she'd been meaning to go through boxes of old slides that Dad had taken, and wanted to take them to be turned into pictures. I decided to do some research, and found that you can buy scanners to do this at home. This sounded alot easier and cheaper than taking your old slides to the local chain drugstore. I found the scanners to be inexpensive and very versatile. The two models I found below have some differences, so you can choose the one that suits your needs. This is a great solution to what to do with all those wonderful memories before the age of digital.
